Century Oaks is perfectly located for a rich, rewarding, and satisfying community. The white sand beaches of the Mississippi Gulf Coast stretch for 26 miles, while stately live oak trees grace the coastline. It's an area with a personality all its own.

Being located on the coast of Mississippi is one of the greatest advantages of living in Century Oaks. Biloxi is a city bounded by beach (a mere mile from the community) on the south and the Back Bay on the north. With a calendar chock-full of events year round, Biloxi is definitely a mecca of fun. Activities such as Cruisin’ the Coast, which draws six or seven thousand restored and antique cars from 37 states; Smokin’ the Sound, which is powerboat racing at its best; Mardi Gras festivities following over 100 years of Biloxi tradition; or Christmas on the Water, with the beautifully lighted boats on parade, are wonderful drawing cards for those considering life in an adult retirement community.

Many of the Century Oaks residents enjoy the thrill of the penny or nickel slots at the nearby casinos, with lunch or dinner afterwards. They look forward to the wide variety of entertainers who are on the coast each weekend in the many casinos. For those who enjoy museums, the new George Ohr Art Museum, Walter Anderson Museum in Ocean Springs, the Jefferson Davis home, Beauvoir, or the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum are all nearby. Festivals are held throughout the year highlighting artists, boats, seafood, and a host of musicians. Sports enthusiasts attend The Surge pro hockey games at the Biloxi Coliseum, and are sure to enjoy the Shuckers Baseball Team’s games in the new MGM stadium across from the Beau Rivage. In addition, for all the golfers, there are many beautiful golf courses within close proximity.

For those who enjoy exercise, there are plenty of places to do so.  If walking around our Century Oaks streets is not enough, you can walk all along the beach on the new cement walkways.  If swimming is your thing, you can join either Donal Snyder Senior Center’s pool or the Natatorium.  Classes for seniors are held at each of these places.  There are numerous gyms nearby which you can join.  Or, if you love to bike ride, Biloxi has just put in bike lanes all over the city to accommodate bikers.

Century Oaks is perfectly situated between Keesler AFB and the VA Hospital. You will feel secure knowing that prominent hospitals, specialty clinics, and rescue services are available.
